Department of Pathology is one the best out of all public and private medical colleges. It has state of art Histopathology, Microbiology, Hematology and chemical pathology labs. It has a fully functional clinical pathology lab and blood bank in Pakistan Rangers Central hospital. The department is well equipped as per the requirement of PM&DC. The pathology museum is well established and contains a large number of specimens.
Renowned pathologist, Prof Dr Rozina Jaffar is heading the department. He has more than 30 years teaching experience in pathology in various public and private sector colleges including Services Institute of Medical Sciences, King Edward Medical University, Sahiwal Medical College and Punjab Institute of Cardiology. As examiner in the subject of pathology he is on the Panel of various Medical Universities and Medical Colleges. She has more than 10 Publications to her credit in various reputable journals.
