Biochemistry chemistry Department has a State of the Art Laboratory which is managed by a qualified and experienced Technical Staff. It has a capacity to provide practical training to fifty students at one time. The equipment includes Microlab, Chemistry auto analyzers, Spectrophotometer, Electrophoresis system, Thermo cycler, Hot air oven, Electrical water distillation apparatus, Centrifuge Machine, controlled temperature water bath, Olympus Microscopes.
Department is headed by Prof. Dr. Asima Malik who did M.Phil. (Biochemistry) in 1992 from Punjab University. She has teaching experience of 35 years in various prestigious Public Sector Medical Colleges like Fatima Jinnah Medical University (Asst. Professor / Professor), King Edward Medical University (Associate Professor) and Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore (Professor).
