  • About the Department

Building Strong Foundations in Medical Education

Professor Dr. Qurratulain is head of the department. Presently involved in various activities with the University of Health Sciences, she is one of the contributors in developing the integrated Modular curriculum at UHS and is also a member of the Review Committee of UHS’s Modular system. She has remained a member of the British Society of Human Genetics (UK) and FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education & Research, UK).
The Department of Anatomy is fully equipped as per PMDC guidelines. It has a spacious dissection hall, latest mortuary and a well-established museum. A cross-sectional torso is also available for teaching cross-sectional anatomy, and the histology laboratory is furnished with high-quality binocular and projection microscopes.
