State-of-the-Art Diagnostic & Teaching Facilities

The Department of Pathology is one of the best out of all public and private medical colleges. It has state-of-the-art Histopathology, Microbiology, Hematology and Chemical Pathology labs, along with a fully functional clinical pathology lab and blood bank in Pakistan Rangers Central Hospital. The department is well equipped as per PM&DC requirements, and the pathology museum contains a large number of specimens.

The department is headed by renowned pathologist Prof. Dr. Saeed Afzal, with more than 30 years of teaching experience across public and private sector colleges including Services Institute of Medical Sciences, King Edward Medical University, Sahiwal Medical College, and Punjab Institute of Cardiology. He serves as an examiner on the panel of various medical universities and colleges, with more than 10 publications in reputable journals.
