A Research-Driven Approach to Physiology

The Department of Physiology at Rahbar Medical & Dental College is a center of academic excellence, dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of human physiology through interactive and research-driven learning. It is headed by Dr. Rafique Ahmad Khan, an esteemed subject specialist with over 27 years of teaching experience across prestigious institutions in Punjab, and an examiner for UHS, UOL, Superior University, and NUMS.
The department boasts a fully equipped laboratory and state-of-the-art PowerLabs, designed to nurture a research-oriented mindset among students, with two PhD-qualified faculty members actively contributing to teaching and research.
Current research includes studies with 4th-year students on cell phone addiction and daytime sleepiness, the effects of exam stress on medical students, and a 2nd-year comparison of the integrated modular system with conventional teaching.
