A Laboratory Built for Practical Learning

Biochemistry Department has a State-of-the-Art Laboratory which is managed by a qualified and experienced technical staff. It has the capacity to provide practical training to fifty students at one time.
Equipment includes Microlab, Chemistry auto analyzers, Spectrophotometer, Electrophoresis system, Thermo cycler, Hot air oven, Electrical water distillation apparatus, Centrifuge Machine, controlled temperature water bath, and Olympus Microscopes.
The department is headed by Prof. Dr. Asima Malik, who completed her M.Phil. (Biochemistry) in 1992 from Punjab University. She has 35 years of teaching experience across prestigious public sector medical colleges including Fatima Jinnah Medical University (Asst. Professor / Professor), King Edward Medical University (Associate Professor), and the Post Graduate Medical Institute Lahore (Professor).
